Sewing Basics: Upcycle A New Garment

Your class project is to re-create a shirt using the applique technique. The project can be easily modified to be simple and quick, or more elaborate and detailed. The beauty of doing appliqué is that it can be as simple and quick or as elaborate as you like it, and you can and should use materials you may already have. Get creative!
